LANGERHANS, OHIO: There was an explosion on stage at the Midwestfest
Musicfest Festival in Langerhans, Ohio during a performance by
the classic rock group Kansas.
Details are sketchy, but apparently feedback between two large
stage speakers (both turned up to 11) was too much for the
hardware and they exploded during "Wayward Son."
Band member Billy Greer had his left arm and leg blown off,
Phil Ehart lost a toe, and
band members Rich Williams and David Ragsdale are still missing.
Surviving member Steve Walsh summed it all up when he said
"I don't think we're in toto anymore, Kansas."
