SOUTH CAROLInA: Governor Mark Sanford, missing for five days,
was discovered naked and hiking along the
Appalachian Trail.
"It's the naked truth. I know Republicans aren't known
for either one, but in this instance, I stand on my record."
The governor's record was an old copy of "Pat Boone's Golden Hits"
The governor was rumored to be a possible presidential hopeful in the
rumored 2012 presidential race.
Governor Sanford's wife could not be reached for comment.
