WASHINGTON, DC: Old Republican motto: "America First." New
Republican Motto:
"Do as I say, not as I do."
SC Governor Mark Sanford was a Representative when he voted in the
impeachment of President Bill Clinton. He now joins the
ever-burgeoning number of Republicans who cheated on their wives,
made inappropriate advances to teens, covered up inappropriate
advances to teens, cruised for gay sex or lied under oath about their
perversions.
Even at the time, Republicans were known to cheat on their wives and
destroy families. John McCain, Newt Gingrich and Tim Hutchinson
managed to keep a straight face as they accused someone else of
infidelity. Since the impeachment failed, all three GOP Speakers of
the House have left under a cloud. Historians are looking back at a
very selfish time. As perversions and transgressions are revealed,
the number of amoral Republicans we know about has now exceeded the
number who haven't been caught.
Just like today, the news media knew about many of the affairs but
said little or nothing if the perve was on the right. TALONNEWS is
sitting on e-mails from several other wandering Republicans, so we
sympathize with The State (SC) for refusing to report a bizarre
story. But our staff is too consumed by the death of Jacko to really
care very much about some asshole's reputation.
