MINNEAPOLIS, MN: More than seven months after the election, former
Senator Norm Coleman has conceded the Minnesota Senate race to
challenger Al Franken.
Right after his lame speech, Coleman headed
to the airport and was reported to visit the men's room stall made
famous by Sen. Larry Craig.
Craig, who left his senate seat the same day as Coleman, had a wide
open schedule and one of his aides leaked that he was headed to
Minneapolis for nostalgia's sake and to comfort Coleman. TALONNEWS
was unable to verify the story, or Coleman's ticket to Argentina, but
we report, you decide.
Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty immediately called for a Men's Room
User Fee for former senators. "Coleman owes the state a lot of money
for wasting our time." Democrats in the state legislature responded
by calling for an "Obstruction Fee" for governors who play political
games when the state needs full representation in Congress.
